I have a client that is having off line files issues.
When he connects his laptop to the network after altering a file offline he
gets an error concerning access to the document he has altered and the
version of the file on the server is deleted. This means that the file can't
be seen by any one on the network.
When he then logs off the file is uploaded to the network from his laptop
and can again be accessed by other users.
I have checked his event logs and the following error is appearing in his
application log:
A portion of the offline files cache has become corrupted. Restart the
computer to clean up the cache.
We have tried restarting the PC and have also disabled all the offline file
shares. However when we re-enable them the problem returns.
Is there a way to completely delete and recreate this cache? if we do this
is the problem likely to reoccur?

I'm trying to run Adobe Premiere Elements on my new 64 bit laptop but am
having nothing but problems. Adobe can't seem to help me, I talk to one
person and get told that it will run in 32 bit compatibility mode and I talk
to another guy and he tells me that it won't run at all. When the program
runs it keeps freezing, sometimes it trys to load but then stops. Any ideas
out there? Anybody else using this program successfully?

Same prob with a Dell laptop + Vista - can preview but won't work on their
own. Dell support suggested removing some programs from startup menu or
uninstalling dvd power option but i figure the screen saver should work on
its own. I didn't try those options because those solutions are equally as
troubling. It just shouldn't be that complicated. :(

Does anyone know how to get rid of the backround music and noise you get
everytime you turn on the sound? It interferes with my music on itunes or
when I just leave it on by mistake. The sounds sound like a foriegn radio
station. I think its picking up radio waves but i don't know how to stop it.
Can anyone help?
